Description	Spring Freezes Computer Hang Detection almost always in gameplay. In the infolog it cites that I need to upgrade my drivers even though I have the 11.2 drivers. Windows 7 Pentium D 3.0ghz ATI HD3870 512mb 3gb ram

zerver 2011-03-01 17:56 reporter ~0006457	Pentium D 3.0ghz, that is an incredibly slow CPU, but should not be your problem. "Specifically recommended is the latest driver and one that is as old as your graphics card". So, try downgrading the driver to something much older. I use version 9.2 for my 4850.
