Summary0002345: fallOffRate weapon tag does not work when damaging shields.
DescriptionLaserCannons with the fallOffRate do the same damage to shields regardless of the distance from the shield. They instead do full damage.

To be consistent the reduced damage dealt to units should be applied to shields as well.

Apparently, fallOffRate is purely visual; shields don't obey the dynDamageTags. Related: 0004450 patches shields to respect dynamic damage (and armor classes)
