i can confirm this (this is master btw).

It just means KAIK sends too many commands late-game, probably move orders. Will be fixed when I get bored enough.

Additional note: I added a command tracker some time ago for this purpose. Look in AI/Skirmish/KAIK/0.13/logs/*.cmdStats after playing a game for a breakdown of the number of orders sent per frame.
