| Summary | 0002103: RAI crash after a long session game when i kill last ai unit | ||||
| Description | When i play with 4 or 5 allied RAI ai against me, the game go in crash when i kill the last AI unit (usually after a very long session, like 50 min) (to reproduce the bug, in the game option you must put "kill everithing" like original TA game) Tested in BA 7.18 under windows xp sp2, i have not used MT spring version. Spring 0.82.5.1 ({0.82-branch}0.82.5.1) I have added a infolog and a replay of game crashed under BA. | ||||

Yeap i know, i have read the infolog, but my driver seems to work well and i have this crash only when RAI go in crash. In a normal multiplayer game i have not, any problems or crash with actual drivers. Anyway i will install soon as possible a better version of my nvidia driver. (version of my driver nvidia/geforce 197.13 WHQL) |

ok.. it is still not AI related. the only possible relation could be, that the system is under heavy load, and thus the error is more likely to appear, or possibly a memory leak. no way to find a bug in RAI with this report though. |

did you test it, are there still crashes? |

yes i have still crashes, i have just tried today, and i have this: http://www.mediafire.com/?wh4kg6dd80r561z (no nvidia problems this time) i can reproduce it alwais, in this condition the crash is alwais sure. i will must try in the latest night build if there is again this problem. Now i have used BA 7.19 and 2 allied RAI on delta siege dry map. |

you should try with current spring master. test with this mod: http://filebin.ca/bajatx/BA719_masterFix.sd7 (it will show up as "Balanced Annihilation sdd" in the list) |

I have tested your BA mod with a test build (Spring 0.82+.4.0 (0.82.3-706-g5f08a1e)) and i have a crash after few second at the game start. Edit: attached |

hey.. good work abma! :-) thanks you two... but as you can see.. as usual, it can not translate the SkirmihsAI.dll symbols, which would be important here :/ i downloaded the AIs debug symbols of that build manually, and tried to translate the addresses.. neither worked. so... maybe we should try again for me to reproduce this crash. Pizzi1, could you please upload the script.txt of such a game that crashes? |

Pizzi1, please try to reproduce the RAI crash with this build: http://springrts.com/dl/buildbot/default/AITransFix/0.82.3-743-g5a44363/spring_0.82.3-743-g5a44363.exe i changes something in the engine, which i hope will give us translatable stack traces again for AIs. You would have to use the sdd version of BA again (as this is based on spring master). |

i did a test myself (under windows), and am crashing the same way wiht RAI. translation is not yet fully working, but it looks very promising :-). |

i can not reproduce this anymore in spring master or current RC on the release branch on my windows box. please confirm. if it still happens, give infolog please, attached as file. |
