| Summary | 0002076: Random fuckup when attempting mid-game join of a game when you were not present at the time of game start | ||||
| Description | With SpringLobby join a host that has a running game. Click Start. Result may be either of the following: * Connection rejected * Connection ok, but extreme desync (complete fuckup, nothing that resembles an actual game) * Instant crash in RandomStartPicture() called from Pregame.cpp, probably because gu->myTeam is invalid or something similar. | ||||

connection rejected happends when the autohost software is too old to support the feature ( like bobbelhost ) second and third happened to me too, but only in TERA LoET DSD host ( the other TERA hosts seems to be working ok, they have a diff country flag too so perhaps they run on a diff machine ), from the network dump it seems to me it's using dedicated server from 0.82.3, not current stable which doesn't contain the necessary fixes i successfuly joined midgame multiple times on fi hosts and relayhosts ( not AU's tho ) |
