Summary0001547: 80.0.0 RC - Always sticks on "Loading LuaRules" when launched from SpringLobby
DescriptionWhen launching from SpringLobby, loading process always sticks on "Loading LuaRules" and does not complete. When launched directly from spring.exe, the game loads normally and quickly.

i am sorry i have no idea about the problem, but for the future, please always post the whole infolog (this one seems to be missing some lines in the beginning), and use eg. pastebin.com with storage time set to "forever".

it's missing lines because it froze... this may actually be a bug in Lua code, an infinite loop of some kind - and the first suspect is api_metal, and the next is the gadget that should be loaded next.

I can recreate the bug (it just involves launching 0.80 via springlobby in a multiplayer game) and post the first bit of the infolog..I thought I grabbed all of it, though. For reference, Journ had the same problem but it stopped loading on a different gadget - and loading in single player test mode (from spring.exe) works without any problems, so I'm not sure the problem lies in one of the gadgets. Hard to say, though.

Do you have SpringLobby 0.10? Cause that one had a bug that caused Spring to freeze onload. If you do, please try with 0.11 (auto-update should fetch it).
