Summary0001137: Unit speed transfer to wrecks fails for com wrecks ?
DescriptionThis isn't a bug. More like game feature, that i find quite fail especially for com wrecks as also as common...

0.77b1 changelog
- Made units transfer their speed to their wrecks.

anyone noticed that this fails for com wrecks ?
now in "combomb" situation wrecks fly in odd places where you cant find them anymore...
In worst case the wreck flies to the opponents arms!

r6741 removed the multiplier of 0.25, but that should be kept for underwater wrecks IMHO; also, underwater wrecks should receive much more drag.

Well, a combomb blast imparts a lot of momentum just before the units around it die (much more than they would normally be able to gather). I don't know how to implement a check for that cleanly, but I do agree that it doesn't always feel right for bots.

imbaczek: underwater wreckage already sinks at a constant rate, the gravity multiplier was for wrecks blown into mid-air.

Anyway, being worked on, but no promises it'll get anywhere.
