Apologies, I wasn't given the infolog. Occurs seemingly randomly in S44 (v1.5 Market Garden) when paratroopers drift off the map edge.

i tried to reproduce this here:
Gentoo 64bit
0.82.6.1
S44 1.52 RC4
Brazillian Battlefield
/cheat
/give usradar
dropped lots of paratroopers near edges, all 4 edges, maybe 20 drops all in all, no crash.
Godde mentioned in chat, that only some people seem to crash. (maybe windows only?)

also tried with:
/give gerradar
/give gbrradar
and V1 and glider, same result: was not able to reproduce.

more info from iruke (who is the one who experiences these crashes most):

[10:39:27] <Iruke3> 1) I made single player game, made an airdrop, the game hang while airdrop was spawning on the ground

[10:39:47] <Iruke3> 3) game reached the "end of demo" state and shown the final stats screen
[10:39:59] <Iruke3> 4) the units in background proceeded to move for 1 second
 [10:40:04] <Iruke3> 5) the game hung

Iruke on linux is running a 8600, I've had the (windows) crash before and I'm on an 8800, but it can't be replicated in the same way. Seems like two separate but related issues.
