Fix more issues found with CppCheck (static code analysis):
* fixed float4 = operators
* wrong usage of strncat()
* unnecessary nil-check for `delete`
* vars not initialized in constructor
* syntax error if MACOSX_BUNDLE is defined
* moved vars to a more restricted scope
