Wait Command Broken?

Post by feanix »

I haven't been able to find this reported yet, so sorry if I'm reposting.

The wait command seems to not be working properly. You used to be able to place a wait command in a queue of actions. For instance, move somewhere, wait, move somewhere else. That was really useful for transporting units, since a unit had its wait cancelled when it was dropped off by a transport.

Now when I try to queue it up it doesnt queue. Instead it orders the unit to wait as if I wasn't holding down shift.

Fixed for 0.73b2

P.S. You can queue WAIT commands with 0.73b1 if you
bind "wait queued", but unit command queues will still get
cleared after a unit is unloaded.

Its 2 types of wait right?

one the "inmediate" wait, and the other the "queued wait"?

Yes, there are 2 types.
The self-destruct command can also be queued in 0.73b2

P.S.
I'm currently writing my first little GroupAI that adds some extra
wait type commands (gather-and-go, time wait, deathwatch, etc...)
It also adds a command to attack a bunch of units by selecting
an area (and probably another couple of features by tomorrow :-)
