For CA ctrl+click unit or check automatically generated guide at http://trac.caspring.org/wiki/UnitGuide

Damage is influenced by many factors, don't take what you see in the guide as being 100% accurate. It might be useful for gauging relative power between similar units.
Re: Where are the dmg information?
one could conceive of a Lua widget capable of estimating this information.

Shows damage as it occurs, which is useful, but not quite what the OP was asking for.Forboding Angel wrote: "Display DPS"
I think he'd like to know in advance, before building how much DPS unit is going to do. There's so many units out there that trying them all out manually is not exactly a fun job.

there are lots of units and i dont want to trying them out manually, this is freaking me out...
Why isn't it possible to make some detail about the dmg in the tooltips?!
Re: Where are the dmg information?
General tip...
use more fast units on bigger maps or/and when there is more space on the map to control per player.
Use slower units when the map becomes busy and most of the territory becomes occupied.
Use real heavy and slow units when there are coherent front lines with heavy defenses to either break through the defenses or to use air transports and drop the heavy units in the players undefended back base.
Go to tech 2 only when the front line is secure and you have some AA defenses and your team has a lot of units on the front to defend against an invasion.
Use more air units on bigger map and/or on maps with strong wind(you can check wind in game by pressing "i").
Strong wind is an average of 15+(for example min wind 10,max 20).

Re: Where are the dmg information?
Because we get one single solitary line for tooltip info.Deutscha wrote: Why isn't it possible to make some detail about the dmg in the tooltips?!
