Error when trying to play (Ubuntu 9.04)

Hi guys,

I'm pretty new to Linux and wanted to try this project after hearing about it from a friend. I installed as stated in the installation guide, and successfully aw this project at executed the Lobby.

This is where things got messy. I tried to run a local 1on1 game (Single Player mode), and at first run it did start for a few seconds but eventually crashed. The other times it just gave me an error by X (please see the attached screenshot).

Any help is appreciated. Note that I am using the X-Updates drivers from the PPA rep.

I think that is a bug in the Mars map, try a different one.

very likely, thanks, seems like other maps work just fine.
