Changelog not updated?

Post by Caydr »

Am I doing something wrong or is the changelog ( https://spring.clan-sy.com/wsvn/filedet ... rev=0&sc=0 ) not being updated for some reason, despite the work that's certainly gone on since 75b2?

This easily-read list of the most significant new features can be a help when there's like 40 pages of edits to go through. I especially appreciate the way that new features are described with a little detail about what they do and how to use them. Just reading "implemented HDR lighting and invented toilet paper" in the 'development log' isn't of much help if there's no details provided on how to use it.

The best way to know about new features and how to use them is to hang out in #peet, #moddev, #lua, #ca, and #s44.

Dude, stop boycotting the lobby, you're missing all the action :P

I'd just tick people off if I sat there and idled all day. I only actually sit in front of the computer for a few minutes at a time lately.

What you posted isn't the sort of changelog I'm looking for. I mean this: https://spring.clan-sy.com/wsvn/filedet ... rev=0&sc=0 As you can see it hasn't been updated at all... it used to be, every time something significant was changed, it was immediately noted in there so nobody lost track.

Ideally the process of updating changelog whenever you add a feature should be restored yeah.

I don't like the fact that otherwise I'll need to spent >4 hours on just figuring out the changelog before the release :-)
