What the heck!!!

It is mega awesome! The graphics have a kind of comics (as in sci fi comics, not mickey comics) look in them that is really great!

How cruel it's going to be to wait until every unit is finished....

Well it looks decent ;)

Try checking the unit scales, but for starters it looks good.
Also try adding some symbols to it (texture wise).

And if you can show it from a top prespective.

Compared to what? it is not next to a factory. Also keep in mind the old ak/peewees in ota were like 30 feet tall. These are not guys in power armor if you recall from in game they are bigger than the armored cars like Jeffie.

Size is easy to correct I'd rather see bob spend the time doing other things rather than menial tasks like omg x unit is a head too tall. You guys realize that we can alter unit size later right?

No worries man the stuff will get done. Behe is a bro believe in him. Bob is a creative force, he'll do the models and i am sure he'll do them well! When it's done, I'll be here helping with whatever visual tweaks(CEGs etc) that I can.

It'll happen dagnabbit!

It already is 100% playable, you just need to check out the svn.

Rescaling units is easy as pie in upspring (it only screws up normals if you scale by more than 50%).

Upspring normals should be irrelevant since 0.82, unless you are scaling non-uniformly.

As requested. :D

Oh, and as for the whole "part 2 thing". That was going to be for the t2 ships, but as I've tried to make them atleast 4 times now without success, (scaling issues) I think I'll leave those for last.

Scifi, you're right about Bob not wasting time fine- scaling units and designing them instead, bc it's making the best use of his limited time.

@bob: if your inspiration does not come for ships, try designing another class, arm tanks for instance, since you said you had already thought of a wholly new visual concept for arm.. ;)
