Hello all!

I am delighted of what I have seen in this thread. I want by no mean harass the artists, just show them my support and gratefulness for what they have done until now, and what they will do in the future, hopefully.

Thank you a lot. I would contribute with pleasure but cannot imagine what I can offer since I am not at all in the IT field...

Ok, I'm back! The trip ended up being a bit longer than I originally thought it would be. Sorry 'bout that.

So, I'll finish up this update and give you all some pics Saturday. Just thought you'd like a date after I sort of dragged it out a bit. Probably should have done that in the first place.

Ok, sorry I'm late. Been scrambling quite a bit to get it all ready. Consider this a two part update. Part 2 will be tomorrow. :3

Didn't quite finish all the ships, as some of them ended up looking a bit silly, and I'll need to redo them. I'll do that tomorrow. But, the tanks are done for the most part, except for the rocket related tanks, as I don't have rockets yet... But, that won't take long.

More importantly than all that, the arm texture is basically done! And, I have a few test models to show it off.

And don't worry, these are just test models. They are just rough drafts to show off the texture.

Now for the tanks.

Reaper
Goliath
CopperHead
Pillager
Intruder
Croc
Mine layer (I know it looks weird. Trust me though, the texture will make it work.)
T2con
T1con
WaterCon
Poison Arrow
Garpike
Instigator
Raider
Banisher
Tremor
Wolverine
Leveler
Slasher

I've also been playing around with some other little things. I put some of the models in the unreal engine, and they actually turned out pretty nice if anyone is interested. I'll get pics of those tomorrow as well.

:D :D :D :D :D :D excellent work!

I dont quite see where the arm models are going, but I have faith.

Only comment on core vechs is that pillager barrel seems small, otherwise wonderful stuff.

Excellent work though.

I freaking love it. I like how the construction vehicles stood out to me immediately.

It is an amazing work! Tanks look more tough than the original ones and taller also, especially the instigator but are really nice, though a bit basic sometimes (raider). They have lots of details and are different enough from each other to be easily distinguishable after a short time of gaming, IMO. I can understand why it took more time to design them than for buildings as you mentioned - they are all variations of the same idea, i.e. vehicles with cannons, and therefore, you have to really think over ways to differentiate them.

I note that the builders have lost their nano-arms streching out from their bay like the NASA space shuttle.

Just a minor comment: instigator has laser, so the gun barrel should be thinner.

As for the arm texture, looks even better than core one.

I can't wait to see arm tanks!

Remember to make the ARM bull dog fatter than the CORE reaper, or people will get confused :?

But great work tho!! :-)

Gah. My time management is awful. I'll try and get "part 2" up as fast as I can. Ever since I got back from that business trip, everything has been a bit more hectic than usual. My apologies. Everything should calm down a bit soon, and I should be able to work at my normal pace.
