I said Businesses. I am already well aware that you guys' tax system is even more fail than ours, and our is really fucking broken.

Those are business taxes!!
35% was a minimum corporate profit tax for company when i started (now its decreasing though)
VAT 20% is paid from value added by company.
Social security, unemployment tax, ill tax and health care security is paid by business !!

Wiki says that for USA MAXIMUM corporate tax is 35% for incomes over 18,333,333 .. Now what I deal with is incomes which are taxed 15% in USA...

Even if USA corporate profit tax is high, in other countries companies pay MORE taxes than that.
USA has no VAT and im not sure if in USA employer pays health, social and other stuff for their employees..

Actually Africa has the cheapest labor in the world, but the west is so set in their ways of pity and welfare that they don't want to even consider giving Africans a slice of the business bread.

Also African nations don't have their currency constantly pegged below the dollar.

No FA, im saying that doing business in USA is cheaper than in EU, and guess what, EU still has decent industrial base at least in Germany which until recently was the biggest world exporter.

I also think that taxes don't pay such a huge role. Companies reinvest to have close to 0 profit and grow.

More important is cost of labor which is of course higher in USA than in India or China.
So just wait until americans are willing to work in factory for 300$/month or until other countries stop being willing to do it :)
Fortunately workers and processes in western countries are often more productive so they dont really have to work for $300 to compete.

In the usa there are toll booth collectors who get full wages for doing a function commonly found in one of those food despencer things. In the socialist country of Canada the tolls are collected automatically, for everyone, without even having to slow down.

In these usa the yearly advertising budget is umpteen hundreds of billions.

The city of Cleveland has half its physical area full of brick lots (like some bombed out city) with really expensive real-estate just outside its borders. If i remember correctly this is because of some huge tax hike.

EU policy against foreign investors/goods is extremely restrict, for european investors its rather random, u just cannot say its friendly or not.
