I read the forum and from what i saw, pretty much everything was in a rough idea stage. Everyone has good ideas, writing them down on a private forum doesn't give you the right to take the moral high ground.
Sure whatever Peet did with your forum he probably didn't have the right to do it, but it doesn't justify the way you are acting here. Seems to me you are trying to twist words and make yourself look like a rape victim.
All in all, much drama about nothing. If you ever were serious about helping spring with your projects and not just trying to counter-troll him by getting the whole community involved, then peet's actions shouldn't turn you off that course. In any case, I wish you good luck with your projects.

I do agree with Gota in that this is another case of bad moderation, even with these new moderators i see no difference in the state of things.
This community is based on who you are friends with, and peet has dodged the bullet on SO many occasions because of his previous moderation, and friendship between other mods and respected spring players.
I know the details behind why he got to where he is, and frankly im disgusted that i even come to this place and allow some of you to moderate my actions if you allow what he does and simply push it under the carpet.
If you want an example of why he should be permabanned ill give you one.
he gave up his moderation a long time ago, and continued to use betalords account for his own fun.
(And I'm not taking any bullshit about betalords account password being easy to guess, if you have that amount of power, and use it to destroy other peoples accounts, I'm sorry I'd ban them for life. If this was anyone else, they would be gone, and would never have an appeal.) *side note, i have logs for anyone who wants them.
Now i haven't looked over your moderation policy, (which i never want to) but i don't think having lulz and total disregard for your own rules that you set for other members to follow is one of them
I'm aware what peet has done now has nothing to do with this forum directly, but it brings to the surface of what hes capable of, and what more, has done in the past.
He isn't doing anything but cause drama for the community, and with his actions happening all the time, advances in the spring community either stop, or take years to happen.
I dont care about the cloak and dagger situation with what AF has to offer me and the community, what i care about is that eventually i will have what he has made, whether i was informed by it or not. With Dickery and drama that peet continues to make, stuff like this will never come to light, and it is you as a moderation team to stop things like this happening, in our forum, or anywhere related.

with as much as you troll how are any of us supposed to regard this as in any way a serious post? How is this any different from when you trolled peet when he was a moderator?

I troll people yes, but do i disrupt content makers and create massive drama with people who are making things for spring, no.
Peet as far as i know isn't working on anything.
Trolling != using powers not given to him.
I've been banned for much less, and for far to long.
Actually smoth, you have no reason to even reply to my post as your just as bad as any troll out there, does that mean i should not regard your posts either?

Because what spawn retard says has been said by numerous unconnected people. He is not alone in what he says. You forget, his clan was utterly devastated by peet & co, I know this for a fact as I have a share of the blame, as does lurker.
Its a simple case that the spring project as a whole is not just a forum and a lobby, the message here is that it's okay to attack the satellite communities.
I take the moral high ground because peet broke into my forum and attempted to splash its content over these forums out of malice, not because I had ideas in a private forum. The forum could've contained nothing but lolcats.
I'll never be taken seriously here, and we all know that complaining about moderation is futile, hence why I stopped my great big crusades I used to take and only complained when it barged into my affairs like it has here. As much as people here want peet banned for what he's done, it'll never happen.
My stance of late has been I'm not going to concern myself with it, peet can do as he likes as long as he stays out of my affairs.
Thar be no peet in cookieland, and no cookies on peets world.
So long as peet observes that things should be ok for me. I'm not going to drag my name any further through the mud on here being the white knight trying to put things right, god knows how many other people here have tried and failed. But I will defend myself, and I will defend my own infrastructure when people strike out at my websites and projects, I will kick up a fuss.
As for me cutting off my nose to spite the community, I was willing to take the extra effort to support spring. Instead I will now likely offer this to another game engine in a slightly different form. My code has uses, and spring isnt the only community that would find this useful. Im not one to abandon code out of spite.
Right now, I have to ask myself the question, is it worth investing time and effort into the infrastructure of a project whose control is corrupt and under the influence of people who have shown that they are not content with peaceful co-existance with me?

A bit of a derail but not really, I do not come here for trolling. I may mess with some people but in general it is uncommon at best. Either way, your persona vendetta against peet has little to do with what AF is talking about. I am almost inclined to believe you are looking for an excuse to leave. No one is making you stay or go, it is through your own volition that you do anything here. If you don't like it here feel free to go but I stand by my suggestion of taking a step back and then coming back to see how you feel after a break.

I don't ban people from the server for griefing in a single game.
why?
it's not under my jurisdiction. it's up to the host to handle behavior inside their game. I *do* warn/ban for battle ban evasion, joinspam, or (valid complaints about) behavior crossing over to several hosts, because it has escalated to a lobby problem.
I don't ban people for their behavior outside of my spring jurisdiction. AF's forum is definitely not in my jurisdiction, and if it was... peet would still not be banned here, as this forum is unrelated.
in that light, there will be no more rabble-rousing about banning peet. if anyone has any concerns or valid complaints within our jurisdiction, they will pm me or the forum moderators group directly.
