Erm, I'm afraid the game concept I was thinking to use this for has momentarily fallen aside somewhat to activitly on the other threads topic ("the libre game"). Not really looked into it yet, sorry :/.

Yes, the camera tracked the mech (in true 3rd person style, as the title of this thread implies). I'd be interested in this again, by the way :P.

Fixed for latest spring. No chickens in fixed version because I'm lazy.

Q to enter 3rd person control.
P to exit it.

Ow, nice jab Bob :).
Real cool you fixed this up again Regret! Am downloading and will be giving a spin in a second.

Edit: can't seem to get it working :(. It shows all the widgets as running, but nothing happens (I scroll around as normal, cant give orders).
Might have to do with me unpacking the whole thing, and removing the otacontent and tatextures references (so that it would work without them). But the spherebot showed up no problemo, so I dunno.. :/.
2nd Edit: Doh, I'd just not activated controls with "Q" :/ ! Thanks for helping the noob I am Regret :) !

cheat in a unit (either spherebot or spherewarrior iirc) and take first person control of them. I don't know if chickens work, I only wanted to see the code and how it worked so I could make my own little game out of it :)
