I saved the same animation with a different optimization scheme and got it under 10Kb... YAY!, this means I can probably handle about 100 frames of animation using this method!!!

awesome stuff you have here, id sugest opening the top hatch, and adding some machine gun models on the top, just to spice things up, the rest its very clean/detailed model, thats a russian tank i supose.
those tanks had some sort of a rear machine gun, i remember that from Faces of war (earlyer game similar to Men of war), the KV-2 had 3 machine guns

The model is not finished so i need to model it proper befor i get to uvmapping and texturing

But yes. if you are doing death by detail spiked might as well add a pintle mount machine gun up on the turret.

Hey guys its me again with a little problem!

Back gun is reverse, very stupid but i want it to be like on the left ship, that the gun points back, but shoots like the front gun, can someone help? If I try to move origin in Upspring, the gun hardpoint goes back to the middle and becomes unmoveable!
How can I let my ship be broadside firing even when the turret is pointing to the back of the unit?

very cool melvin! you need to set the direction of the weapon of the back gun to 0 0 -1
oh and face it forward on the model, perhaps? and on teh create script just face it to the rear with a "now"
alternative is to inverse the angle of the Y in the aiming script.. oh and the X aiming to.

I'll say now the inverse thing never worked for me. I had to flip the turret on the model and have it turn to the direction I wanted in the script.

If you post a copy of the script you're working with I (or someone else) could probably more easily give you a hand in getting it figured out. If you catch me in the lobby chat (I hang out primarily in #ct) I could help you and hopefully show you what's what instead of just doing it for you so you learn nothing.

Um did you added an empty firepoint to the barrel? not where it sticks out the barrel end
and on script refer the fire point to the empty object and not some random object

Uhh I am thinking of a weird Turret where you can "Code" it your self and thus changing its behavior
model is not final
yes i know the effect sucks but its lazyness now
Red+Green Equals Yellow (2)
you can see on the Display Codemans 1,65K(Treidmark)
Edit: Each Color has its own Number Red = 1 , Green = 2 = 3 (Damn i made a calc mistake but ignore it i just show it off the idea behind it [on the pic]
in RGB Value
Red = 1
Green = 2
Blue = 3
(R = Red G = Green B = Blue)
i need to find a way to get a proper calculation method for it
no ingame only idea because lack of lua skills
The end result may vary its strength , colour and range
