pdf is fine for printing, because on the paper it'll look just the same as on the screen. this isn't the case with every filetype/software.
for screen-only use it sucks, thats true.
But you can also use the Foxit reader, it displays pdf in < 2 seconds.

If I used "Foxit", that would require a readme stating to use "foxit". Which nobody would read. And then my life would be ruined with spammed whining about my usage of such an irritating format. I might as well save the readme as screencapped BMPs. That way at least everyone would be able to view them...
I don't expect anyone to re-read it with every new version by any means. Almost nothing is changed between versions but the version number at the top. Just read it once, take it in, get the sense of it, and you'll probably never have to read it again. Just once...SwiftSpear wrote:I don't have time to reread stuff every time a new patch is released.
