I learned how to UV map with unwrap, but the problem comes with trying to put together the 3so with upspring, importing the shit etc etc -- and my models are fairly archaically made (using some 5 year old modelling program that nobody has ever heard of).

I think the lack of "detail" is due more to my low settings at the time i took the screenshot. For instance:...

I made the model a bit more detailed.. well, actually I just made it not a bunch of boxes stacked on one another. Now it actually looks like something a little menacing. But I am not going to make the Renegade Obelisk.
