Besides a new monitor, I'd recommend getting a couple of these:

They're hot-swap SATA hard drive enclosures for your 5" bays. You can't necessarily do hot-swapping unless you have your bios configured properly and even then it's a bit of a pain - so I just use them for "cold swapping" more conveniently.

All 3.5" SATA hard drives have their data and power plugs in the same place, so you can just slide one out, and another one in. Great for back-up or for storage of items you might need to be able to put an axe through or microwave in a hurry. Way more convenient than DVDs or whatever.

My computer runs ambient temperature 23 C in the case 26 C cpu at max load stress test for 20 minutes. its fucking cool.
