We really, really want to be in this. We need a solid deadline to get our release ready for though.

Bah humbug. He said -2, not no, so the score is well into the positives.

And as a sidenote upon seeing his comment with the new avatar I didn't realize it was fang and almost flew into a nerdrage.

Who is we? The deadline is realistically something like Dec 20th or maybe the 21st before you would be holding up a spring release (bad). However the installer can be updated without re-releaseing spring (one of the benefits of the new system), but adding a mod would be more difficult than updating an existing mod (require recompile of the installer) so I would prefer that all people intending to have their mods included in the new release of spring get me something by the 20th of December.

A side note: Modders who cooperate with me by providing a description of the mod and the version they want released in spring by the 20th are far more likely to get included than those who do not.

Lordmatt, what will you need of me, it is finals week right now tomorrow I take the one that really determines if I graduate. After that I may be busy getting ready to move etc. Gundam will not have another release prior to the 20th as the current work was halted due to technical difficulties. The current release is very playable I just do not like it because I always like the latest build.

What precisely do you need from us content developers? Is the gundam site not enough info? Do you need a brief description? What DO you need?

Did you get my PM? I need 1) A 2 sentence description of the mod that will be what a new player sees next to your mod's name (so make it sound good :-)). I want the modmakers to provide the description, so no one is unhappy with my unfamiliar description of their mod. 2) The version of your mod you want included in the installer. You will be able to update your mod without a new spring release, so what is important is that you are happy with new users getting the version of the mod you send me as their first experience with your mod. That means the mod needs to be fun and playable. Because I am not familiar with the mods other than BA, I am heavily relying on the community's input for which other mods are fun and playable. I think Gundam has already gotten sufficient support to be included, however.

I wish I could say everyone feels thus but I am not sure I can give you a definitive answer. I was asking here so other people would have the answer as well.

Pretty fine all around, except KDR is highly OP.

Okay, if you are happy with neddie's description of your mod I just need a version you want included by the 20th of December.

I'll add a 3) to the list above for mod makers. Please be sure you have tested your release version with the latest SVN.

I was pretty sure my -2 cancelled out the two +1 setting EE at 0 and thus out of the running.. if thats not how it works than someone explain the rules..

anywho before we start more drama.. EE is not going to get in on this.. couple of reasons most of which have to do with:

1. Its at about 90% done for a good release but the last 10% is not going to get done in Time im sure..

2. Apparently talking about my own mod may get me banned from the forum for derailing threads (dont tell me this isnt true)

3. Hellgate London has consumed all my time that I feel free to spend on things not related to real life

That about sums it up.. Im sure I could just say NO.. but I figured I try and explain it.. even if I end up starting drama and stupid stuff for it..

Everyone else Good Luck and God speed, and yeah we definately should include BA with spring installer.. everything else is at everyones discretion..

Actually 5 people had voted for EE at the time by my count. But if you can't get it done then

Evolution RTS is ready save for one sides buildpics which I will be finishing up tonight, and sound. There are a few misc things I need to do beyond that but I'm so close. I'm sure I can be done by the 20th.

If needed I can upload a dummy file to UF and just upgrade it when I release.
