The most damage doesn't account for much though.
You could be hacking away at a med-healed guy forever and you'll have a high max damage, on the other hand, if you keep fragging people, you won't have as much bait

also i wish the internet stats had all the same things the ingame does, like avg kills/life, avg dmg/life, avg kill/death, etc

In TFC an accuracy stat would often be undesirable as many of the weapons are spammy and/or explody, so hitting people dead on isn't always the best objective, additionally, ammo conservation isn't a big deal, you pick it up from dead people, you pick it up from dispensers, you pick it up from resupply chests, and you start with an obnoxious amount to begin with. Most of the time TF2 isn't a game where it's worth it to put effort into ammo conservation, so testing accuracy is an unnecessary stat. What you really need to measure to evaluate a good player is how efficiently they preform vs context, and there is no algorithm to evaluate context.
