Anything flat (NOT a metal map) and pretty much any number of players is good.

That's true and we like it ... any problem about that ?
so basicly, BA isnt impossible to porc and you dont even bother making units, only defences. I reckon you should pick a story and stick to it

U haven't understand : I attack with tourets man ... :D ... dont make defense but put a hlt in range of llt and after a guardian in range of opponent defense is not porcing ... and its my strategy :D

Like I said, that's not a very good strategy in BA. If you want to play a game that's not BA, then do so - make a mod or mutator for BA that plays the way you like. Expecting the honour-system to enforce the rules you made for yourself is only going to cause problems, because people join BA games expecting to play BA, not the derivitive you've chosen for yourself.

Okay, I never insulted you and you call me a child. And you spam your arguments across two threads in two forums. And you seem incapable of typing correctly.

I wasn't even criticising your tastes. I was just suggesting that, if you want to play X, then you should make the game X rather than relying on spoken "rules", because those "rules" always just cause arguments and fights. You can argue with the host, but you can't argue with the game itself.

WTF is wrong with you?

Im also curious about this simbase. Its one of those mods that I dont find anywhere. Where can I find it?

And yeah spoken rules are trouble, so write then somewhere and make sure everone readed em BEFORE starting a game. Also, be ready to have a lot of discussion because if you write "airdropping commanders near the base is forbidden" some people WILL have a diferent idea of what is near of yours. Having someone spect the game and act as jugde sounds a good idea, but I fear that would have to be Drolito since he is the host and then he wouldt be able to play... :)

But you really should mod the mod. Removing the air transports from that match sounds good too: very few people use air transports on Altored other than for combombing and comdroping.

I haven't tried it myself, but I'll bet it's pretty damned trivial to make a mutator where the Comm is untransportable.

Reducing the diversity of play is a hard point to sell a discerning player on. The use of a commander as a weapon is risky and considerably expensive, and the dangers of transport for other purposes weigh favourably against the possible benefits.

I didnt understood if you are defending transports or killing em... maybe both :)

Maybe making it that the commander doesnt com explodes if a transport he was in is destroyed, so if you manage to land on the enemy base you have as much right as if you were making a gunships raid. That would also solve the com's napping trouble.
