no, it is probably only "hard to read" when it is over blue

Yeah, I just noticed that too, its much more readable now. I think we just adapted to it over time.

Do not use: color=violet
But use: color=#ff00ff

And then it'll be still pink but not as eye-straining.

I could do hex for a real pink but that requires me typing it every time.

If the devs gave me the site source I could patch it into the color selection

garh, it's not the pink that bothers me, it's the light coloured background behind...
