And to confuse the hell out of us ;)

Now, not only do I have to work out what a Geheffelburger mk32423 is, I have to work out what my guys are shouting.

"Schnitzel! Schnitzel!"

"Huh? ... oh crap! I'm under attack!"

Stereotyping an entire linguo-culture in two sentences aside, I kid, it'll be awesome ;)

If you are supposed to learn German, then every ack has to include "bitte".

Bitte sehr, Ihr Granate.

Silly krauts

Anyway, the hope is that the voice acting is good enough that you can tell the difference between one saying "jahvolt" and another screaming "SANITATER!"

It took me a while in WWII games to work out that they weren't screaming about 'taters', and therefore, saying something along the lines of 'eat my potato masher, bitch'. ;)

Hey, are you interested in me doing some American voices? Because honestly, regional variation doesn't hurt. I'm West Coast.

I just noticed that 'Zu Befehl' means 'As you Order'. Why not play that after you order a move, instead of when you select an infantryman?

You need the classic chicago accent. I'm pretty sure it's a rule of thumb that if you have a chicago accent in a WWII movie you have to get your legs blown off.

Anyhoo, mapped and skinned the 25-Pounder and it's ready to go in-game. But I'm too lazy to make pics.

Who's Godwin and what's his law?

Anyway I did those buildpics for the units that need 'em. I also partitioned everything I've been doing into seperate, nicely-organized folders. And I got the Marder from Floz. I think I'll do the Russian guns first.

Godwin's Law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies) is an adage that Mike Godwin formulated in 1990. The law states:

As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.
