I can already imagine the overgrown muscly version of this for a heavy trooper of some sort. Sort of like that one CA spherebot derivative (warrior?)

I applaud agorms unique styling and look forward to seeing it in game. his models with the outline widget and some shader tweaks could make my work look about as good. It all depends on what is done.
However, you really do not have the right or knowledge to tell anyone how they need to do something. He has already done several models in this style. To try and tell him change styles now is stupid.

Yes, yes. I read the quoted post. I'm not telling aGorm to skin it in that style or to change his style. I'm just commenting that I would like to see how the model would look with 'realistic' texture. This is akin to me commenting that I'd like to see your gelgoog model in orange, with a flamethrower: I am not insinuating that you should makesuch a model and put it in the next release of GRTS, merely that such a model would look interesting.

A smaller boat, I added some 'walls' to the sides, but they are no rails. Do the achieve the same effect? The weapons may be out of proportion..

I had a conversation with smoth about aGorm's model. Some choice quotes:

IMO boat looks quite good for a 'modern style' ship. They tend to have few details on them, with clean 'stealth' lines. Forward gun turret would be better fully enclosed in that case.
As for the small guns on the superstructure, those look like they need people crewing them. And maybe some more weapons are needed, something resembling a missile launcher perhaps? (unless the ship has vertical missile launchers).
Too much little details on a ship leads to this:

As you can see, it's quite hard to tell what of those details is what unless you zoom in closer.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys, here's an update... you'll have to wait for inagme shots from now on though...
(After these dudes are done I have enough to get some stuff in game! WOOOT! And maybe announce the project properly!)
aGorm out... till... well till I have somthing good ingame.
(Should prob have said.. work in progress... only torso and head and back are done... plus basic colours.)
