NATI is way to hard for me

No in the chat console NTai will say its version at the very start. This can be found in infolog.txt where it's logged to.
NTai also logs to the AI folder so the logfilenames will have the version number and so will the headers inside them.
And yes the current NTai on UF is not for public consumption, it has bugs, it has no configs, it will not play very well. If you download NTai from UF and try to play it it will justs it there dgunning any random unit that strays into firing range.
Also toolkit does not come with an NTai binary, you have to download each seperately.

well I tried KAI vs KAI on comet catcher and it was pretty amazing how they hammered away at each other... esp. when i typed in .nocost
Im mostly curios about NTAI to see what it can do and how it handles hubs. So what I understand atm there is no easy to use NTAI (becouse spring patch screwed it over?) so just have to wait.

also AF noone tests your AI because you release about 4 a day.... once every couple of days would do.

Iamacup, people DO download the test builds and they try to play them and they dont report back anything, not even a "why dont this work huh?"
All I've had are some posts by zpock wondering whats wrong and a slew of feedback from DJ who seems to be the only person willing to give regular feedback of any kind. If it werent for DJ, I wouldnt be making progress, and progress is being made.

I think a lot of people aren't sure what you want. As far as I can see (and I haven't looked into it much, I don't have time, but I am trying to keep up with AI devlopments), NTAI doesn't work very well without proper configs and build orders. These also seem to be quite complex, and nobody ever seems to finish one by the time a mod gets updated. So if there are no working configs, how can you properly test if NTAI is behaving correctly? Am I missing something?
They did take a long tiem to build, btut hat was by hand editing them in notepad.
Now you have toolkit, and DJ has said he's managed to get good results using configs he made in 5 minutes. Apparently a 5 minute config was able to infest half the map and build an army 4 times bigger than the enemy RAI.
Basically, if NTai is doing something it shouldnt, like not attacking, not following your config, leaving builders idle indefinately when they should be building, or crashing then tell me.
And above all, share configs, even if they arent complete, incomplete configs are still useful for testing.
