52 degrees is fine, my 7800GTX idles at 55. Goes all the way up to about 100 at full whack. (My slowdown threshhold is 115, so its fine).

Well ventilated too.

those temperatures sound horrible. My systems cpu averages 35-42 C, and my graphics card cant push out at max performance anyways (eek, 8x agp card in a 4x slot)

hawkman how do you run spring at 1680x1050? My enw monitors native resolution is that, but I get errors when I try to start spring at that resolution.

hmm
I just.. set it there...
I don't really have a choice, if I set any lower resolutions use use the vertical resolution I have set, but it still dipslay at 1680x1050, so it fills the top of the screen with either grey or a yellowish tone, depending on how far belo 1050 vertical I am.

as for horzontal it seems to render on the res I set it too.. but it stretches it to the full width of the 1680 screen.. wich is kinda.. nasty...

In your display options you can configure whether to stretch the picture or not on your LCD.

yes, but this hasn't got anything to do with that, since it only happens in sprign, and it adds a bar the the top and strotches sideways...

I know, 1280x900 shows a strip at the top the same colour as the skybox below the ground. I accidentally tried 90x800 and it looked wierd.

whose running 800x600? :P

my comp, 1280x1024
bro's comp, 1024x768 (but his onboard graphics can't run spring, so his doesn't matter)

AF, you forgot the widescreen options! ;)

also, i run most things fullscreen, ie games, internet, etc... i just alt+tab it if i have to switch something that hides the start menu
