I think StarCraft's "slippery slope" effect is a little worse than TAs because, on the one hand StarCraft does have more rock-paper-scissor action, but on the other StarCraft has such an upgrade-oriented game. I mean, in TA you don't have to tech up - just build factories. In StarCraft, if you're behind in the resource game you don't have the cash to upgrade your infantry so enemy infantry pwnz you.

In TA on the other hand, a tank is a tank. Not a +2 with researched Siege Ability tank.

Still, the funniest game for Slippery Slope is Z, because it exaggerates the slippery slope. On the one hand this means that the game is decided by a handful of battles, on the other hand it means that the game ends really, really fast once the line has been broken, so you can play a agame in 10 minutes.
