The change to crossplatform code has introduced and enormous load of bugs, combined with the christmas inactivity, thats what has taken so long.
What's currently being done:
-bugfixing
-we are writing the code towards sync support, (which includes savegame support)

-model rendering changes are being discussed and worked on, although in a seperate branch for now.

-Greenail has added a CEGUI console in a branch, Chris Han volunteered to do a new CEGUI based in game gui, and as opposed to jouninkomiko he has contributed a lot to spring itself already, so we're likely to get actual results from him

-I have to start integrating my map renderer once I have it debugged.
