You're all talking like there is no threat at all... well, you have lived under threats in USA (and Israel with constant war etc.) for your whole life, got used to school shootings every now and then, learnt early to not go out when its dark because people will kill you or rape you, watched crazy movies since you were 3 that fucked up your sense of reality etc. etc. So you cant see real threats anymore, even if it hit you in your face, you would still think everything is allrite and nothing to be afraid of.
