Well if we make a A.I im pretty sure there is a 50% chance that the first thing it will do is say "Humainkind is obsoleat".... errr.

Also why dint the robots eliminate humain kind (easy enough if they are all comatose and in tubes) then use large scale fusion reactors to power themselves. The idea that something as difuse as solar power would be used to power an entire RACE of robots, is farly rediculus. The matrix always bugged me cause, humain kind is so troublsome to keep and dosent give much apreaceable energy to be sucked dry via machienes.

Still, the animatrix dose look really cool!

err, they are able to make antigravitational vehicle, so the optimization of the solar energy cannot be a problem for them.

Current EM shielding only helps fight the effects of EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) which is used on the B-2 mainly, but I highly doubt it can take a full hit of a EMP, in the movie, they are particulary vunerable to EMP, but they aparently did survive nuclear warfare?

yeah,that does vaguely resemble the Steyr AUG, mainly the scope is, but what does a robot need a scope for? do they really need scopes if they have advanced vision modes which they can use to zoom in on their target, calculate the trajectory the bullet/laser/whatever will follow?

BTW, i'm very bitter about the 2 sequals to the Matrix, it used to be my favorite movie, but the 2 other movies pretty much spoiled it for me.

I still would like a mod with Matrix style action though, guys in black leather trenchcoats, cool specs, cool guns, blazing, insane moves, ahh yeahhh...that's the Matrix for me, the lobby scene...

Animatrix second renassiance 1+2 doesnt focus on a battle, it shows scenes of different battles, but it is mor itnerested in telling the story, it doesnt focus on any characters, just events. The nearest you get to characters is the 1 minute where it shows how B-9 killed its master and was put ont rial and they ordered all machine workers to be destroyed, and the 5-10 seconds where 01 sends 2 androids to the UN as ambassadors to ofer a peaceful resolution btu the UN people clamber up and try to tear the androids apart.

EMP? Something as advanced as AI with android bodies many times mroe pwoerfula dn flexible than humans isnt going to be reliant on electronics susceptible to EMP, nor are they goign to use heavy conducting materials like steel or iron for their bodies, maybe lighter plastics or more innovative materials, and what about optical processing?

Also the film said it was a combination fo humans and some fusion source, I guess the machines hadnt perfected fusion either. And the human body generates quite a bit of electromagnetic energy, though nto enough to be as useful as a 4V battery, we do produce current for far longer and at a higher voltage albeit far lower current, enough to make us a viable energy source when reproduced enmasse, they must have 10's of billions of 'grown' humans in the matrix.

Eitherway matrix 2+3 where a dissapointment for most people, but animatrix second renaissance 1+2 isnt comaprable, it's just not the same.

And perhaps in their infinite wisdom, one of those rgeat machine built enhanced AI's saw it would be good to provide several EMP protective places in anticipation, afterrall such an AI would have no need for sleep or resources save electricity, and could be a 24/7 thinktank of the likes we wont see in our lifetime.

They can rebuild everything very quickly, even after a "genocide" they were able to build the gigantic 01 so massive bombing aren't effective against them.

And for the steyr, we can see a robot with a beretta (i think).... The first wave of robot were made by the humans and they surely took everything in their way that can help them.

We can even see some robot armed with spear!!!

A robot with a fist is sure to clobber a human with a machine gun unless its made of fragile components (hard metals, strong new materials, no specific reliance on any component save the power source, easily itnegrated bulletproofing, semi hydraulic grip ouch!).

Now where wheer we before GZ threw us off track. Anyone interested in working a mod such as this?
