It is called intentional handicapping, often used to lessen the blow of low performance to the ego and sometimes to make the lesser accomplishment appear superior.

sigh, this is what i get when my cap comes on e.g. when the americans start to wake up :(


I pay £18 which is the same cost as 1 meg broadband.

Free upgrade from virgin media if you know what buttons to push :D.

I know. My statement was a complaint in itself, and an oblique reassertion of my connective plight. Most people paying thirty euro as compared to my fifty dollars are getting between 20-40 times my download and 3-5 times my upload.

yeah, and in dial-up times i sometimes paid 150Ôé¼/month lol
for 7kB/s upload & download

do you know how fast my first 512kB/s connection felt? :lol: it was like SUPER UBER WOW, omg PAGES LOADS IN 0.1SECONDS OMFG!!!

and lol, these days pages loads as fast as in dial-up times because of slow servers and flash spam and js spam

nevermind the fast connections try to find the slowest speedtest server with your connection xD

so far zimbabwe is doing pretty good

yeah i did that too, but i got timeout, my ping was 17000 or something, and when it finished download, the upload failed and i didnt get the pic of fail ;_;
