my brother had a laptop similar to that hp small screen with nvidia 8600, he played spring fine on it. i wonder wats with the UV lamp tho.

Killing odorous bacteria, cancer, checking money bills for counterfeit, lulz, putting UV responsive stuff under it, putting phosphorous glowinthedark stuff under it, checking for cat urine, checking for blood stains at a crime scene, testing your UV-transitional spectacles, ...

Braindamage, is any of those the reason?

I use a super hardcore professional mousepad with a rubber mesh bottom that would rip the surface of the desk off before it would slip, and a slick plastic surface. Although, admittedly I got for more accuracy precision in NS, it had nothing to do with spring.

Indeed: Mosquitoes. They fly through the mesh on my windows, and lay siege to my fearfully quivering skin. It makes me wish I had cats :P
