Jasper, you took me out of context.

Do you know what the differences between a hockey mom and a pitbull are? One wears lipstick. - Sarah Palin

You can -uh, put lipstick on a -uh-a pig, -uhm(This is the mental, o shit moment)- but it's still a pig! - Obama

No those 2 quotes aren't related at all...

The EU can go bone itself. Full of insignificant pricks.

You know that McCain once used the "lipstick on a pig" phrase when directly discussing Hillary Clinton's policies (Obama didn't even mention Palin), right?

And that Obama specifically clarified that Palin is the lipstick upon the pig that is the Republican party policies touted by McCain, right?

And that you'd have to be an utter nimrod not to realize that he was discussing how McCain's fiscal policies were the same as Bush's failed stuff in the original speech anyways, right?

We all know you're smarter than this. Why are you buying into such obviously manufactured controversy?

In America the "conservative" party doesn't even care about the constitution - and following the constitution is probably the best definition of conservative possible. Ie, these are the rules of our forefathers and even though society has changed we aint changin the rules because we want to conserve our values.

In Australia the Liberals are exactly the same as the US republicans. The only common factor isn't conservativeness but a desire to sell everything to their mates in industry.

Liberal is a dictionary term that goes back a long way. According to Wikipedia its political meaning is:

"Liberalism is a broad array of related ideas and theories of government that consider individual liberty to be the most important political goal.[1] Modern liberalism has its roots in the Age of Enlightenment. Liberalism rejected many foundational assumptions that dominated most earlier theories of government, such as the Divine Right of Kings, hereditary status, state religion, and protectionism."

The main irony is that in Australia the Liberal Party have traditionally been the most active in removing liberties. They are the strongest supporters of the "War on drugs" which basically flies in the face of liberalism as a concept. They supported the monarchy during our republic debate. They also support the draft and spying on citizens. They support the teaching of Catholicism in schools. They generally reject arts funding and support censorship. The majority come from rich families and have law degrees and MBA's.

Read the definition above and tell me how any of that supports the rights of individuals over a church or "hereditary status".

She should get out from behind her desk and go off to Iraq, see if shes still sold on the idea of war when a roadside bomb takes her arms and legs off, or her redneck son comes back home in a box?

The fact she can criticise russia for defending itself against georgia while her own country has its army, illegally in Iraq, killing people and stealing their oil using a bunch of made up weapons of mass destruction as their excuse, should set alarm bells ringing, if they haven't already, she just got her first passport in 2006, shes 44... gufawww!

Don't forget "lipstick on a pig...". The moment he said that he had a mental "o fuk" moment. Obama says "uh" more than anyone in recent history. Get him off that teleprompter and all of a sudden he has no idea what is going on nor what he believes.
I didn't even mention Obama numb nuts... this topic was/is about Palin.

btw, I find it extremely unlikely that Mc Cain will die within 4 - 8 years. He's not THAT old. Get some perspective. This woman is a show piece to balance his lack of youth appeal, not a presidential candidate.

I think any claim or counter claim over ethnic and political diversity in USA or other places and drawing comparisons is illogical foolish and racist.

You do not require a large population to have a wide ranging varied ethnicity and spectrum of political views.

Does The USA have a monster raving looney party? Last I heard there was only 3 parties, nm the 26 that stood for a council seat in the UK once? Are you beginning to see how ludicrous this type of arguing is?

And people do realize that its the UK not England? Whatever happened to scotland Northern Island and wales?

It is perfectly reasonable to find 1000 people randomly in any country in the world all with differing views on politics and beliefs etc And to generalize countries in the way you people are doing is sickening and down right racist, you should be ashamed of yourselves and this thread should be locked right now. If you have any sense you'd stop making total twats out of yourselves.

Percentage surviving by age, of 100k people, for US white males 70yr old: 72.5k, 75 yr old: 61.6k, so statistically he has 61.6/72.5= 0.85, approximately 15% chance of death statistically. Considering the importance of the job, 1% chance would easily be enough to demand that someone capable has the vice presidents chair.

Please, if you are going to insult people, don't blanket it over everyone.. You seriously think no-one said anything that holds any water?

Luckily you are making models that you try to match with reality, so you can make well-informed opinions.

I think it is a closed minded and very shallow view yes.
What is the open minded view then? usa not waging wars but embarking on crusades of freedom and liberty and killing the bad guys like castro/latin american presidents if they are deemed undemocratic/communist, and replacing them with just puppets, ehm... presidents~~

Team america fuck yeah
Do I think they have any basis or grounds for it FUCK no. I like how most people who rail on the US for it's history choose to ignore the history of the EU and all of it's atrocities.
I am sure that what little I do know is only scratching the surface.

yy we all know about the colonisation and crusades and whatnot, but do you seriously think you had any realistic reason to go into vietnam/afganistan/iraq? or how about killing off the indians in order to build railroads and grab free land, or putting italians/japanese into concentration camps in ww2?

If you truly are aware of the european history you'd learn from it and try to avoid repeating it as much as you can

You know that McCain once used the "lipstick on a pig" phrase when directly discussing Hillary Clinton's policies (Obama didn't even mention Palin), right?

Didnt know that ~~
Also, maybe soft-on-communism would have prevented the cold war, did anyone even try diplomacy?
I for one like paying my taxes when they go into free health care and free university level studies ~~
The EU can go bone itself. Full of insignificant pricks.
yeah 800 million people in the wealthiest continent on earth are full of insignificant pricks.

I wasn't talking to you steve. Only that first sentence was directed at you.

Pxtl, yes i am well aware of that, however, obama would have to be an idiot not to know what he was saying.

So which is he, a blissful idiot, or the messiah, all merciful, all knowing, all inspiring, Lord Barak Obama?

Edit: Let me point out that the majority of what I've said in htis topic is for satire purposes. There's no point for anyone to get all red in the face because it won't change anything.

ALL EUROPEANS ARE THE SAME

How ironic!

I also love your stupid definition of satire. You have no clue what it is. You're stupid.
