I hope the really fun units from the Westwood c&c's get added, like chrono troopers and burrowing tanks.

if you didnt play with limited superweapons then thats your bad. generals was freakin awesome until people used the exploits so much it became unplayable online, and that still leaves in great for LAN. high level ZH play was awesome to watch.

RA2 was a shocking file of shit,

and C&C tiberium wars was pretty damn awful too. YAY I MAEK PITBULL ISNT THIS FUN ???1 not to mention the zoom being so attrocious you felt like there was an obese man in a nappy stood behind the screen pushing the camera back down everytime you tried to zoom out, which is a great design because I just love scrolling around minimaps

C&C Red alert (for their times) and ZH are the only redeeming parts of the franchise, most the games are substandard, stupid and medicore to the maaax.

Pitbull spam got nerfed down a lot, try 1.09 or watch a couple of 1.09 replays from gamereplays.org, they fixed a lot of stuff.
Weren't Generals and ZH mostly about single unit spam as well?

Was fun to go infantry general and churn out some choppers with missiles and 1-2 minigunners early on though.

It's pretty simple, if they had made one game that was CNC:generals balancing/gameplay + CNC3 story, polish etc, could have been pretty good I think.

Although since the guy behind generals left ages ago for blizzard/SC2 I doubt they will do that for RA3. Hints for why CnC3 sucking in the ways it did in the first place.

Chrono IFV was really expensive, fragile and needed lots of micro since the IFVs would move one square closer than the beam ranges and if they try to attack that makes them move after they shoot, wasting a shot. Haven't seen them in a match recently but I'd guess T1 tank spam eats them for breakfast (takes a long time to dematerialize a tank, if you kill the IFVs fast enough you don't even lose any).

A load of Chrono Legionnaires with presetup waypoints are deadly too or Chrono Ivans if you manage to get them.
