I remember putting explosives on cows with the Ivan.

No real reason, really. Just random animal crulty.

Chrono Ivan was pure evil. Worse even than chrono commandos. A chrono Ivan could put bombs on other chrono Ivans and then warp to the enemy base. The bomb didn't go away.

I usually set up waypoints and let him jump lots of short distances right into the enemy base, attach a bomb to everything expensive and jump back out alive. Worked quite often... :)

Love those short distance hops! It was insane if you had a group of four or so! LOL, I remember the first time I did it to my friend, he was like "WTF!?" cuz he didn't know what was happening, then his buildings blew and he couldn't do anything about it, hahah...

Have you figured out how to model and UV map properly too?

I know how to model... I go quality, you go cheap. Mine looks better and performs the same. Don't make me dig up the thread where I point out that everyone of your thinking has no modern modelling experience... This isn't 1997, and it's no longer an atrocity against mankind to have over 100 polygons on a model, or even polygons that only show once in a lifetime.

Yes, I'm going to have a 16-sided cylinder for a gun barrel if I'm feeling saucy. And I'm going to have stuff you _cannot see_ in almost any regular gameplay. And I'll probably "waste" polygons on silly things like detail. Heck, I might even completely lose my mind and actually put polygons on the underside of units! :O

UV mapping... there you've got me. But yes, I've gotten some experience in that field as well lately.

Caydr.. This isn't the point, there is a difference between details and wanting something to be perfectly round... Do you have secondary textures?

(PS: You think showing polys once is a reason to "not" waste em? Sure why not, you only render when they are shown anyways :P )

So, you optimize your models now? I mean that's good.
Getting really good at something often takes years you know...

why do you lot jump on the "lets hate caydr" bandwagon so quickly? what exactly has he said in this thread to provoke you? nothing. Just leave it. I can restrain myself from posting what i think about certain people (recently anayway ^^ ) so why cant you?

My post was in no way offensive. I can't even see the video, videos crash my computer for some reason. That's why I was asking, unless I have an eye roll in there, I am not being sarcastic.

And, I was telling him that details are not a perfectly round cylinder. Details are something that are... meant to enhance the model. Perfectly round cylinders make the model look better but don't define it or enhance it.

My bad if it sounded offensive.
