I tried it some time ago, but I think it is hard to use, and has far less parts than LDraw. Also the colours cannot be chosen freely. I am really amazed that you could built something like this using it. I couldn't even get two blocks to align properly.
Anyway, it's good to see a new concept-art modeller. This mod has been suspended by schoolwork for quite a while.

I don't really like the colouring for the most part (of what was shown yet). It get's the impression of a three year old choosing random colored pieces sometimes. I mean I built fully functional power ranger robots and transformers (and a lot more) out of legos which all kept a clean color style... unless that is intended.

And how about going s3o instead of 3do?

The EGADS race will be the slick looking robots...

Also, i dont have the time or the photoshop skills to go and uvmap every unit. If someone else would like to do so, be my guest. this mod is understaffed anyway.

I'll try to model all of what you post here. Try to get images from multiple angles so i can see what it looks like on all sides.

I would be much obliged if you could get some screenshots at some point that really show off the progress of the mod. I would like to showcase them on the Spring Facebook group - and I support this project to the fullest.

Neddie, I'm going to be honest, I havent done any serious work on the mod since the summer. School has been really difficult this year, but over christmas I will get right back into it.

Learning is something to be prioritized!

Yes. The huge number of parts is a great advantage, but it can also be a drawback if they are not well organised. Are you using MLCad? If so, having a good parts tree can aid you a lot.

P.S. It's nice to see a new concept-artist for this mod.

No Bionicle! No!
They would ruin the whole mod! This mod is about creativity and oddity.
But if you can make a three-headed-eleven-legged alien creature out of Bionicle parts (all by yourself) it may have a remote chance of getting into the mod. (That is, if it can miraculously have a reasonable polycount.)
