Um, you 'see the enemy is building hovers so you build subs' why? You'd build ships, which do all kinds of horrible things to hovers, and can shoot at them even when the hovers hide on land...

Besides which, it seems to me that the mod makes a simple balance decision along the lines of 'hovers can't attack subs, and subs can't attack hovers' - seems fair enough :?

And you should know that any direct fire weapon (that includes the EMGs) will be able to fire over dragons teeth and wrecks as long as the target is sufficiently high - eg a llt.

Oh, and this 'global conspiricy of core players to make the core better than arm' of which you speak certainly can't be doing very well, since most players still play arm! :P The trouble is of course that your paranoia is causing you to view the world in a biased way (its natural, all humans tend to discard evidence that is not significant to them and remember evidence which is significant - ie which supports their views) and that is causing you to become even more sure about your bias, which in turn is causing you to talk in a biased way, which is getting you flamed on the forums, which is affirming your belief that all the core players are out to get you. ;)

So yeah, have fun with that ^_^

What about your maths skillz you are wrong cause you dont have his math skills!!!
darn, Soulless1 fails :(

Hey Caydr, I found some inconsistencies while looking through your files. First off, the East/West version of Hovercraft Platform wreckage are inconsistent with how things are, as they will give MORE metal than the original hovercraft platform when destroyed. Secondly, core still has a laser and an artillery hovercraft when arm does not anymore. Thought these are odd, just pointing them out for ya.

All in all, Core is shaping up to actually achieve ascendance - which is perfectly fine. It needs some time in the sun.

Torpedo bombers no longer have sonar to see subs and underwater units, plus because of how long the range is on their torpedoes, they tend to drop on land a LOT. I know that behavior is a Spring bug, but is there some way you can muck around with them to make it so their torpedo only has a short range in the water so it'll be forced to drop closer, making it more likely to be in the water? Both these factors combine to make them fairly worthless for anti sea stuff, making gunships or bombers a better option.

I experienced this as well in essentially every game I've played thus far with this version of Absolute Annihilation. It's an illogical oversight which has made a certain class of already limited aircraft even harder to use effectively.

AFAIK regular bombers have always been a better choice, since they can bomb sea pretty effectively already. Do we really need torpedo bombers? especially with their bugginess?

I was quite confused when I built mine in the last game I played, but it remained useful to some extent. However, the buildtree is a little thin for the structure... something else to round it out would make it more viable.

there appears to be a problem with core halberds not firing their laser some of the time, even when there is plenty of energy. Not all of the time, just sometimes, and in groups (i.e.e they all fire or all don't.) This happened to me once and to someone else in a different game.

Oh yeah i was gonna post this as well.

For some reason the halbereds would just stop firing and wouldnt fire again no matter where i took them on land or not until they died.

Im not sure what was triggering it, but every time its happened they were in the water. And I also think most of the times they were trying to fire at a T1 Sea Lab

You just need to build it at a different time now, it only costs 900 metal, so they're more like hovers now.

Something I have noticed, is the Stumpys unit info, has aiplane movement spelled wrong, most likely nothing to worry about, but looks kinda unprofessional. Its spelled "Airplane Moventment" Hehehe
