Okay, they both have a ring and some holes in it, alot of space stations have that :wink:

Enless those greebles on the side have a purpose in animation they are a total waste of polys. Those would be trivial to texture on, and they wont be seen from top-down veiw (what the majority of spring players use).

Also, that does look like the THIS star base :P

Edit:

After further review of the model, (and a google pic search of "starbase") I have found a couple things. The things around the bottom orb thingeh are a waste of polys, noone would really notice if that was textured on or flat out removed. and the center does look like the star trek Star Base exactly. Overall i think you should really think about your poly usage more carefully and try not to copy stuff from popular shows/games/pictures :P

the Crab and King Crab are separate Mechs, Crab weighs 50 tonnes, King Crab weighs 100.

I prefer the Crab. the KC has a very awkward model. but it all comes down to personal preference in the end anyway ;)
