"Young People Fucking" I actually liked it a lot :)
"Office Space" is a classic I guess.
"Clerks" is cool.
"Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" a bit older but definately a must see.
"Death at a funeral" was pretty good.

if you like Clerks, theres Clerks 2, Dogma. The other movies of this series are ok but not that good.
Napoleon Dynamite

random all time favorite:
Vanishing Point (pretty much a classic, ~Easy Rider)

watched lately:
Timecrimes (time travel, trailer is worst spoiler ever, just watch the film)

City of Rott <- wtf i dont even. a flash animation style zombie movie that somehow goes on for 80minutes. The hero is an old man with his walker crutches thing. The drawing is decent, the animations are pretty stiff but it works for this film. Or it doesn't for you. Imo pretty fun when watched with someone who also likes this trashy films.
I remember seeing a movie done in a similiar style. Possible by the same people because it also featured an old man, maybe the same even.
Its about a group of people who go hunting in the forest and suddendly all kind of strange demons/monsters want to kill them. Couldnt google it though, maybe anyone knows the name?

Terminal: guy has to live in airport for several months. didnt see this movie for some time because i thought would be meh but was actually okay

Oh boy, I hated it -.-

I'll tell you why. The movie is about how people are getting more and more stupid and this guy who somehow travels to future sees that everyone is an idiot and he is now a superbrain although he is an everyday normal person.

So the idea is actually good, thought-provoking, sozial-critisism blah blah, thats all fine and great but if you look at the jokes and who this movie was made for... It is made for those idiots of the future, the humor is terrible, its movies like THIS that make us stupid so I thought the movie was actually "couter-productive" (thats not the right word but I can't come up with something better right now, I hope you get my drift)

i dont think Idiocracy wants to be thought-provoking.
you probally think the movie takes itself too serious or something (which i sometimes think of other movies too) but imo it is too clearly a comedy for that.
they just used a setting that allows them to make many absurd funny situations and gags.
which is fine.

Thats exactly what it was but with a theme like this I expected something smart. :(

I just remembered another good one:

"Waking Ned Devine"

I guess movies like "Some Like It Hot" and "Groundhog Day" don't require mentioning.

I loved how the americans were the only country in the world that became retarded. Also that how only white men were became retarded, everyone else was normal: women and african americans

I tend to agree concerning this one. The movie was recommended to me and I think it had potential but ended up serving the poeple it criticized entertainment more than being anything strongly satirical (which is how it was recommend to me).

I generally can't stand modern comedy too much. But, Shawn of the dead was good for a zombie movie.

the Deer hunter is great last I remember. I might have to re-watch it.

It's not about a hunting deer as the title seems to imply, but it is story on a life transition from civilians to Vietnam war soldiers and back again.
