I don't care, it's alright, I guess.

Apathy for the win?

@Satirik

Nice splash screen satirik, what have you got in mind for your icon?

@Smoth

Sometimes empty space is pleasing to the eye and serves a functional purpose, which I think you already know, but I'm not sure what's so bad about it in satiriks image, imo it acts as a nice frame.

@Masure

No I can't copyright gradients or spring logos but I can copyright the white spring logo with the glow on the red diagonal gradient as my own artwork, or at minimum as a derivative artwork.

One of the reasons I did the blue icon was because the red one was identical to springs icon, and using my icon without the gradient to spite me is going to do you and spring far more damage than it will me, if only by showing off any lack of morals or civility you may have in doing so.

Why not using the same icon for all the lobby clients ?

In the end, a player uses a single lobby client (the one he prefers). You may have different shortcut names with the same icon.

"One Icon to rule them all, One Icon to find them, One Icon to bring them all and in the darkness bind them"

Why not use the same icon for every program regardless of what it does?

We all have our own individual icons, there's no reason why tasclient should be any different.

I'm running this version and I noticed the popup with country names that you get when mousing over a user name in a chat channel doesn't work in battle rooms or in $local. Is that intentional for some reason?

It's nice, no matter with this logo. But I'd want to see a sun with regular branches.

I don't really think that icon fits your Client very well... everything should have distinct icons, and that makes it look like a generic project imitator rather than a fully developed entity.

I'm thinking something... perhaps on a green background, a whole sun around a L or S.

Can you replace "Ghz" in the lobby with a more complete way of showing what a player's performance is like? It'd be a big help just to know what type of CPU they have. For instance, an Athlon XP 1800+ shows up as 1.8Ghz but it is clearly not as fast as a Core2Solo at 1.8Ghz. Windows does store the CPU type in the registry by the CPU speed I believe. I don't know if the protocol passes the Ghz data as a string or in some sort of number format. If it passes it as a string with enough spots it should be easy enough to do.

The protocol passes a single number to show CPU speed. That's it.

Also pressing the big arrow buttons on the Perform form without having anything selected if there's anything in it causes a List index out of bounds (-1) error.
