That is an incredibly smooth looking set of units Azaremoth. Another game for me to look forward to!

Some kind of toyish kart car thing, 246 tri's for the one on the left, I'm currently trying to make it some sort of scout thing (see right) but not done yet.

I'm not really making this for something, so If someone wants to use it, just ask me :wink:

It's not done yet, but it's a start.

Final model is exactly 300 tri's

e: the blue is a placeholder for a cockpit (it'll have reflectivity but I don't have a texture 2 yet)

Also, put some shading on the top of the textured-on fan things near the rear wheels, so that they look set into the chassis rather than having been extruded outwards.

(plane is the ground)
it's even a bit under the ground, to compensate for the blockyness of the wheels when you see them up close.

Close to finishing it, could someone tell me, how to make the blue part look like a window which you can't look through? Hope people know what I mean:)

You can't I'm afraid. Translucency is not supported by s3o. Conceivably, you could do it with a LUA renderer... but I've no idea how complicated that might be...

Doubt it. You could 'paint in' cockpit details to make it look like you could see through it - I've seen that done before (civilian cars in the CnC:III Middle East Conflict mod) and it works from a distance.

but what about people without reflections? that's the problem, I can't just give them a big blob of black/blue?

The Wolf Spider(tex still needs some adjustments):

Well, I haven't exactly even made a mod file yet, all I have right now are the textured models.
