Playing with these 3D lego programs sure is some weird deja-vu. After messing around for a couple of minutes I came up with this nanoturret/factory. Its more an example of the 'lego nanoturret' than a usable model.

I have got a few new ideas, but I don't know if they are feasible.
1. Flying bombs. Small, agile, not very fast, vulnerable (no armour, low hp). Large blast radius w/ small damage or no blast radius w/ medium damage, or both.
2. On/off-able plane. Off: normal; on: fast, consumes more energy, no weapon or weak weapon.
3. On/off-able submarine. Off: normal, submerged, torpedo as weapon; on: on surface (visible), faster and more agile, weak weapon.

Has there been any thought as to the two (or more) sides? Pirates versus ... well anyone? :)

Also, I'd like to jump on teh bandwagon for producing sounds... if people want me to?

^^^ something I cooked up in a couple of hours while I was on holiday on my sister's laptop. I've got a not insignificant amount of hardware and some pretty nifty (and legal) software like Fruityloops, Adobe Audition, Cakewalk...

Anyone interested?

Im pretty sure you cant have music in spring. but a sound effects guy would be great. Expolosion/weapon/unit sounds.

Speaking of Pirates, would it be possible to have the ships max move speed depend on wind speed?

Can you export the things in MLC Cad (or sumthing) i can model that Gear Shooter or what or something when you cant export it ..

EDIT: i found something pwning : http://www.joern-thiemann.de/tools/LDraw2LWS/index.html its a Ldraw .dat > .lws tool

That doesnt really work, ive tried it. The problem is everything from MLcad is very very high poly. 100-150 per brick.


Gear shooter is already modeled. Some more lvl1 and lvl2 turrets and buildings would be helpful though.

Meh, the usual. I've got a mex, energy production (i went through 4 different models on the Energy, i didnt like any of them), radar, storage (which im not particularly fond of), and a minifig factory (not that great, better than the first giant duplo one)

So some lvl2 storage/production/radar/factories/turrets, and perhaps some lvl1 turrets and new factory/storage models.

Weaver, i really like that model factory you posted several pages back, could you email it (dxf/lwo format if possible)

I do have many, especally EGADS aerial units, but I don't know which ones have already been modeled by somebody. If P3374H is doing his job, the EGADS planes should be ready. See pages 1 to 3 of this thread.
