oh and the AI should also automatically launch flanking attacks from entrenched positions and provide on site air support as well as licking your ass.
No you do it yourself foo' otherwise there be little point in playing a real game.... Besides remember it IS a beta! There probably will be some basic formations such as draggable boxes etc

I know this is a beta, i would just like to see those things implamented in the actual game.

Oh come on it should ATLEAST have LIGHT defences against them. Basically all you need for an uber navy is like some crusiers, alot alot of subs and a battleship o.O;.
ota and ota-derivative spring mods also suck because battleships cannot shoot at subs. :roll:

Ya, well real subs can also sink most above water ships in no more then 1-2 shots. The problem with subs IRL is that they do damage before they can be located to fire apon, whereas TA didn't simulate it realisticly, they just artificially built in structures to emulate it.

Damnit!!

Developer: Now are new t4 battleships, armed with heavy mavors, anti nukes and nukes, it can submerge, fly and has an anus which shoots a monkey laser and can walk on the ground turning into a super galactic collosi!!
Guy: Sweet, lets play!

- one hour later -

Guy: Wait you have no SUB DEFENCE? Their t1!!
Developer: Whats a sub? Turkey?
Developer now in a life boat: Oh..thats a sub.

actually, OTA lehas the destroyer, which is the balanced battleship with depth charges. the millenium/overlord or the overkill cruiser focuesed entirey on surface with 2x the land firepower at the cost of its sonar and depth charge. if it had those too, what the hell would counter it? aircraft are stupidly poor vs anti air ships in every mod

I live gmt -6 so he would be gmt -7 (Cuz of the winter time savings or whatever the hell it is...)

2 things:

1. Zoombie is -8 GMT. remember there are 4 time zones in the US; Eastern(-5), Central(-6), Mountain(-7) and Pacific(-8).

2. Winter time savings?!?!?!?!

supcom ALSO has the destroyer/cruiser with torpedoes

I guess I should play since I'm hogging a beta key but a bit of sandbox playing gave me the impression that the unit variety and such is pretty blah compared to Company of Heroes...

omg! I have never realized it, but Muzic is right! SupCom unit names makes the game totally unenjoyable! what were we thinking? playing a game with such unsnazzy names? :P
