The safe geo is epic. The nuke launcher is cool too, but what about also remodeling a nuke model? (the missile), make it big and with teamcolor!

why use bevels on the geo? I know we can use a bajillion polies blah blah but the bevels are not really needed. *edit* well I guess if you are trying for a more rounded look but still, are they really needed?

U went for the rounded back on the bertha, it looks lame tbh, use the squared off back!

Oh wow, that geo is a beauty! Nuke is sweet too. The Bertha is okay, but I have to admit I preferred the square back. Still, it's nice.

Yeah maybe the bevel are useless, but its only 80tris more. Anyway, I've updated the mesh and the uvs, 1172tris. Feel free to use the one you prefer ^^

@ Hoi : Yeah but there is not so many different shapes of rockets. It has the fuel container and the bomb top part so all the missile are pretty the same ^^

@ clericvash & Crayfish : I don't understand what you mean by the round back :/

The current rocket is really ugly, a new one is needed. It would look way better in s3o

neat, well I was just asking if you did the bevel for a reason, I guessed that you wanted the building to look more rounded. I wasn't really sure so I asked. neat that you made a second version but you didn't have to.

All looks cool.
About the nuke silo.
Its a great remodel.I personnaly never liked the looks of it..
would be cool to have one is more round or just symatrcia lfro mall sides whatever form it is..Maybe make one that gives the illusion a rocket is being launched from a hole that was continued with a concrete/metal tube a bit above the ground so u wont see just a balck texture and a rocket coming out of it.
So you got the short tube and of course the rest of the structure.

I suppsoe it should be all metalic and futuristic to not lose the ta feel.

We (well, I hope cleric meant the same thing!) were talking about this http://cremuss.free.fr/fodb/files/bigbe ... nder/8.jpg, with the rounded back on the right and the squared back on the left.

I dunno though, the rounded one is starting to grow on me a bit. Think I'd get used to it.

P.S. the bevels do make a difference, although I guess it's hard to tell without texture!

@ Hoi : I tried a different rocket. Better ?

@ Gota : Thx for critics. I liked your idea that rocket is launched from an underground "silo" (which is more realistic) but this kind of shapes are already set on the core one ^^ Anyway I tried something, tell me if you like it.

@ Crayfish & clericvash : I'm sorry for you guys but I'm not gonna tweak the bertha anymore ^^ Some people thought that the old one was too boxy and some people think that it's too rounded now so... :D I liked it how it looks like now so I'll keep that model :p

I just tried something different for the nuke. Also added little details but It still has the same tri count.

I'm trying texturing the bertha now but the thread gonna be "chaotic" if I post texture wip too : o Maybe I should create a new thread for the texturing stuff :/

I personally always liked how the missile had to 'tilt up' to fire, and how it had a sort of scaffold/gantry thing to hold it up. Those are the design features I most remember about the nuke launcher. It features in the TA intro movie - worth having a look at.
