Make the spider thing lower to the ground by spreading the legs out the side more. Also, segment the legs more; if you just animate them as a single part it will look very ugly as a large model.

That would be Wings 3D's auto UV mapping tool. It does that in random places to the textures you applied on the model when you UV map it. Most of the time it ends up being a white line through several faces. But still extremely annoying. :evil:

for a small soldier it is ok (perhaps the arms are a bit too long - he can touch the ground while standing :D).
But i wonder that your commander who is much bigger has only 20% of the polys of the soldier. You should make the commander more detailed, else it looks strange when some models are very detailed and some are not.

I'd make the upper arms and thighs a bit thicker and increase the size of the helmet. Looks like a fisherman's cap :P

Anyways, I have legs, really cool legs, with joints for the commie :P

The polelike legs and... err... teeth don't look too good. Same for the gun barrels. And that texture needs some improvement, maybe some camo pattern with a slightly brighter colour. Are you still doing this in paint? I suggest you start using something better such as photoshop, paintshop pro or gimp. :-)
