Oversubtle joke is oversubtle T_T

@trademark...Of course, screens that show new shinee engine features are highly unnecessary and a waste of bandwidth for attracting players ^___^
As with pretty much anything around here that isn't terribly important, doing it yourself is probably the best way to get it done.

I agree that the Spring gallery should be remade. Maybe move all the current picture to some "pre-release screenshots archived for history" folder, but when some randome newcomer click "gallery", he should be shown the finest Spring screenshots. The aGorm tree map is unreleased. The BlackSwamp map has tree that aren't nearly as big, but still much bigger than any unit, and anyway it has more detailed trees but most of all it is freely downloadable. I'll try to screenshot it some day.

Trying to sort image by mod would be too difficult, with all the mods cropping and dieying, however yes I wish more screenshots from alternate mods.

About glory shot vs overhead shot with interface, of course we need both! Make sure not any shot remains with the ugly initial interface that put so many people off. I find it normal that screenshot are shot with no interface, no health bar, close up FPS view, while game aren't played like that because:
- All commerical games use pretty close-up, if not cinematics, that have nothing to do with the actual experience for advertisment material. To be succesfull, we must do the same for Spring.
- Spring actually can look like that. So it's fair game and not cheating. I mean, it's not like we used 'shopped shots.
- There are some people who pretend to be able to play their game without using the TA overhead view.

I have many screenshots to offer, and am always making more:

Perhaps we can omit the one with sync errors :P
Those are some damn good screenshots though.

Try "/shadows 1 4096" to bump up your shadowmap size.
Avoid grainy shadows if your card supports larger maps, it
was the first thing I noticed when I saw the SupCom prelim
videos.

From your collection, this one is a good example of grainy:

Other then that, I like your shots. Might be nice to get a
couple of new glory shots with dynamic water enabled too
(close enough to see some wakes...)

Yeah, sometimes my shadow gets way too grainy, but how could I have guessed that command?

Sadly, I think my ATI graphic card can't handle the deformable water. But I already have the rippled reflections, much better than last year.

Yup, it would be hard to guess it. Sorry for going off-topic,
but I have committed a half-baked command list document.

if you watch the gundam gameplay video(it was crude and poorly stitched together but it was my first :P..) outside of the extreme zoom ins I play spring very much like that.

oh and those shots are awesome.
